So this summer I’m going to (hopefully) work at Cat Claws. My first job EVER! Shelley (I think that’s her name…I think that’s what Steven said her name was…) said that she’ll hire me! YAY! Sooo, what will I be doing with my paycheck? Well, since I’ll be working full-time, five days a week, I should make a little over $200 a week. Heck yeah! Anyways, I know that whilest I have this job, I’ll have to pay my portion of the insurance and for my gas. But, since my gas is like only $20 every two weeks, it won’t be that bad. =] Anyways, I’d like to save up some money for a new phone! I know, I know. I already have a post about a new phone. Well, that phone’s battery isn’t too well. So, I bought a little motorola phone….okay, so it wasn’t so little, it was actually pretty big, but that was because of the Push-To-Talk. Well, since it was so big, something happened and now it won’t work. Mom said since I like to put my phone in my pocket, it probably put too much stress on the phone and now it’s brokeneded. So, I’m back to the cute little pink phone. And I’m not complaining. It’s cute and has good memory and all that, but the battery life SUCKS and so does the service. I hardly get any service anywher, so I’d like a new phone. What new phone you may ask? Well, instead of getting yet another Pre-Paid phone, I’m going to get a contract (without having to renew the contract and all that crap) for a little over $200. I’m buying from Wal-Mart.com since AT&T won’t give me that option. D: Plus, this phone I can’t even find on AT&T…well, this color anyways. Here it is:

Hecks yeah. It’s a Sony Ericsson W580i for thos who want to know. Anyways, it’s like an MP3 phone so that would be awesome. I can’t wait. Hopefully they won’t stop selling them by them. If they do, they should still have the white, black, or pink one. So…I’d probably go for the pink one. I’d also like to get paint to paint my car, but that’s probably WAYY out of budget. I’d like to paint it this color:

Well, the new Jonas Brother’s CD is out. It’s titled “A Little Bit Longer”. Yes, I know I’m a day late, but oh well. Anyways, I’m listening to it on Napster for the moment until I can get the CD. I’m so excited. =] It’s such a good CD.

Last week I went to orientation and got my schedule. I’m happy with the classes that I got, I just can’t figure out where one is….and I don’t know about the new Choir teacher, but, hey, I’ll give it a try. The one thing I hate about this new school year is, we have eight classes. D: I’m so used to the whole seven classes, I don’t know how this will work out, but oh well – nothing I can do to change it. Hopefully, we won’t have the arranged seating at lunch like our principal said we would. That would suck. Ultimately. Anyway, I think that’s about it….School starts next week.

OH! I get to drive by myself for the second time today! I get to go pick up my brother from football….So, yeah. Anyways, I’m gonna get off of here for a bit.

So, today I found out I was getting a car! Yay! It’s a really good deal, too. $200 because Steven, my step-dad, works with the guy that selling it (NO it’s not stolen or broken down or anything, it just needs a timing chain, that’s it). He’s selling it because he got a new Mustang. Anyway, here are pictures:

Okay, well this isn’t really about my personal experience, but about a good book that my step-mom, Noreen, had me read. The book: The Shack. It’s a really good book. I’ve been told (from the contents at the end of the book) not to reveal a whole lot, so I figured I’d just give you a link instead.

What A Drag!

Our end-of-course exams (EOC’S) start this week! AH! I’m SO not ready for the Geometry EOC, but the Biology one (which is tomorrow and Thursday) I’m sure I’ll do fairly well on. So, yeah we’re going over TONS of stuff in both classes and, surprisingly, I’m actually getting the hang of the Geometry stuff. You know, stuff like E=mc^2 Oh, wait that’s Science. Anyways, all in all I think I’ll do a pretty good job on both. OH! AND I’m proud to say that I brought my Geometry grade up from a 58% to a 71%! Yeah, I know, it’s great. AND I brought my D (forgot what percentage it was-I think it was a low D) to a 74%. That darn test! I made a 66% on it and I studied (during lunch which means it was fresh in my mind-lunch then history)! Oh well, it’s a mid-C, so it’s all good! At least we won’t have an EOC in that. Phew! I’d fail it. Anyway I should probably get going.

Three Shots For Cancer

Guess what! Today I went and got my last HPV shot! Yay!

My doctor said that I was one of the first people who completed the series of shots. I’m happy now that I finished ALL of the shots, and for the fact that there’s a slim chance that I could get HPV. Guess what else. Today, when I got my shot-an intern did it! I really didn’t know how it was going to be. I’ve heard horror stories of interns stabbing your arm and then moving the needle around because they didn’t ‘stick it right’. Well, this intern did pretty good putting it in. When she took it out, though, it hurt like heck. She took out slowly, I guess thinking that it would hurt less. But, it didn’t hurt less, it hurt MORE. It felt as if she was poking it deeper, or maybe even taking a knife out of your arm (I wouldn’t know, I’ve never had a knife in my arm and I hope that I never do).

Anyways, teenage girl (16 or older) or mom or dad that’s reading this and have a 16 or older daughter, talk to your parents/daughter(s) about getting the HPV shot – especially if cancer runs in your family. It just means one less thing to worry about. Of course, you should still go get screenings just in case. Again, it would be a slim chance.

Well, that’s my good ‘rant’ of the day. I’m going to try to post more, for those of you who read my blog. Most of you probably don’t even read my blog anymore because I never post anything new. Well, I’ll try to post at least once a day, if not that, then once every other day. Heck, I bet most of you would be glad if it was just once a week. Anyways, I’m outie for a bit.

Oh yeah, I forgot to add. A few posts back, I talked about getting a new cell phone. Well, I got it! YAY! It’s much better than my old phone. If I drop it, it doesn’t say “Insert Smartchip” like my old phone did. This one’s MUCH better. It’s also like it’s got healing powers or something. I’ve dropped it a couple of times and the scratches that developed on the front, aren’t there anymore (and no, it wasn’t dirt, it was a scratch). I LOVE IT! And I’m not going to change phones again unless I accidentally drop it in OJ (OH NO! Hopefully not again!) or it starts acting up like my old one did (only reason why I changed out phones). So, Dad (since you said once you were sure I wouldn’t change out my phones anymore), you know you could put the Pay-Per-Use thing back on my phone, like you’ve been telling me for months that you’d do. =]

Dun Da Da!

Guess what you guys! I’m back! Yes, back after a very long time! =] Ok, I guess I’ll update on some stuff.

I’ve been watching American Idol (One of my favorite shows!) and am very happy that David Archuleta has made it this far. I’m pretty confident he’ll win. He’s got an amazing voice! (I even recorded his first performance in the non-Hollywood rounds.)

Monday, my friend Pearly (on Lupin’s birthday [from Harry Potter]), invited TBJMP (a group that’s going to the Phillippine’s next summer-Taylor, Brittany (ME!), Jessy, Monica, Pearly.) to her house for a Harry Potter celebration type thing. We had butterbeer and cockroach clusters (both a Harry Potter favorite) and it was…DELICIOUS! Yeah, and afterwards Pearly ~~wanted~~ made us play Quidditch (a famous sport in the Harry Potter books/movies-pretty much as big as football in America) behind her house…yeah, that didn’t work out that well.

Tomorrow, the school is hosting a Talent Show. We have the usual talented people with good voices singing and some…I don’t know how well it’s going to turn out. I’ll post back tomorrow and we’ll see how it went.

Well, it’s American Idol season again! HOORAH! I love watching the season premiers! Yep, well, this time I hope the person that I want to win will actually win this time. We all know what this means! MWAHAHAHAHA! More ranting for me about all of this stuff.

All My Friends

All my friends are at school and I’m bored as heck. There’s a picture of us above. From left to right: Taylor, Jessica, Jessy, me, Pearly. Monica’s hiding behind me, she said she’d take the picture, but she never did. And yes, that’s my bag and my purse down at that bottom, Pearly’s is the orange one. I had my phone in my bag, if I didn’t I would’ve left it….

So, eight more days til Christmas! I’m so excited. I can’t wait. I got everyone else something they would like, I still have to get presents for my friends and Jessy’s Christmas party is Thursday so I don’t think I’ll be able to go since I don’t have presents for everyone. I don’t want to show up without a present and just receive all my presents that everyone’s given me. I’d look like a present hog. I don’t want to look like that.

Other news…..Oh, my step-brother(on my step-moms side) and his fiance are having a little baby! Yay! My step-uncle (on my step-dads side) and his wife had a Thanksgiving baby. She’s soo cute! Ooh! Story! I was at my step-dads parents house for Thanksgiving and Scott and LeAnn (their the two that had the Thanksgiving baby, I call her that because she was born a couple of days before Thanksgiving, not on Thanksgiving, thought I’d clarify) were there. Dean, my step-aunts (on my step-dads side) husband, and his family was there, he lives in Kansas by the way. His family was a little….weird. But, they were okay. I was holding Piper (Scott and LeAnn’s baby, she’s a girl) and Deans dad, I think he is, came in and saw me holding Piper. He had a glass eye and his other eye looked foggy I guess is the word for it. So I didn’t think he could see that well. Well, Steven (my step-dad) was introducing us to him but instead of saying “boys and girl” he introduced us all as boys and I corrected him. Well, Steven introduced me as a girl this time. And the dude was like “Yeah, I can see that.” I didn’t shake his hand because I was holding the baby. He looked at mom and looked at me and then looked at the baby (you guys all know what’s coming, right?). He looked at mom again and said, “And you must be the grandma!” She sat him straight after that.

Well, I guess that’s it.
